Acupuncture
The course includes an introduction to the history of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture as well as detailed treatment protocols for a wide range of common conditions. Graduates can register with the FHT and the Acupuncture Society and the British Acupuncture Federation.
FACE Value
Mention cosmetic acupuncture these days and the image of celebrities posting pictures on social media with their faces liberally peppered with tiny needles may spring to mind. However, cosmetic acupuncture has a much deeper and richer history.
Dry Needling & Acupuncture
The course provides a Western medical approach to acupuncture - grounded in current research evidence rather than in traditional Chinese philosophical thinking. This course does not cover the traditional Chinese medical approach to acupuncture (with some exceptions).
Musculoskeletal Injuries
There has recently been a drive towards using complementary medicine in acute injury management. Our course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to prevent, assess and rehabilitate both acute and chronic conditions in a variety of sectors including sport.
Complementary Therapies
This course includes the theory and application and, an in depth study into the theories presented in the classical texts, Reflexology, Massage, safety in the disciplines, a wide range of treatments, and an extensive look into the practice of the therapies.
CPD & Other Courses
This new and innovative diploma will equip you with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to successfully treat a range of sports injuries and tailor suitable rehabilitation programmes. We also provide a range of other short courses.
